The Black Cherry Tree Project

Started in 2020 by Carey Fountain and Noah Duffy, The Black Cherry Tree Project (BCTP) is committed to challenging racial violence and white supremacy through art, dialogue, education, and nature. Focused on honoring the 34 documented lynching victims of Jefferson County, Alabama.

I have continued to work with BCTP beyond being a participating artist, helping new participants with research and participate in organization planning meetings among other things.
